The Eastman Business Park again tops the list of priorities for the Finger Lakes Economic Development Council as it releases its draft progress report. The report is part of the regional council's effort to make the case for some of the millions of dollars in state funding that will be available for various projects.
This year, Governor Cuomo has directed that up to $750 million in state money be made available across the state for economic development projects. The Finger Lakes Council says that significant progress has been made in getting the business park ready for the next phase of growth.
Another top priority is the development of the Science and Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park in Genesee County. And the Finger Lakes Council says it will continue to support new investment to strengthen partnerships between education and industry.
The council is accepting public input on its draft report until July 25. The report can be viewed here. You can submit input to: NYS-FingerLakes@esd.ny.gov
