Longtime Rush-Henrietta Supt. to retire

Rush-Henrietta School District

The longtime superintendent of Rush-Henrietta Schools is retiring.  Ken Graham, who is the longest serving school supt. in Monroe County, has held that post since 1999, and he has been in the education field for 40 years.

Graham announced his decision at a school board meeting earlier this month. He said that there is no one reason for his retirement, just a sense that “it’s time to move on” and spend more time with his family.

He called it a ‘bittersweet moment,’ but says he has “been blessed to spend the final chapter of my career here in Rush-Henrietta, “ and says that he never stopped looking for ways to make Rush Henrietta a better place for students to learn and grow.”

Graham will complete one more year in the job, staying on through July of 2018, while the district works on finding a successor.
