Local Volunteers, Medical Supplies Headed to Haiti

Rochester, NY – InterVol, Rochester General Hospital, InterVol and Constellation Brands are teaming up to send medical supplies to Haiti.

InterVol volunteers and supplies donated by Rochester General will be loaded onto two chartered flights provided by Constellation Brands and flown to the Dominican Republic. From there they will board U.S. military helicopters and flow into Haiti.

InterVol is a Rochester-based non-profit organization that manages the recovery and redistribution of medical supplies and equipment. The organization works to bridge local hospitals and medical professionals with other countries and care-giving organizations in areas of need and to provide international educational support.
