Kodak Alaris Getting A New CEO

Kodak Alaris, the company spun off from Eastman Kodak a few years ago after the Chapter 11 restructuring, announced on Tuesday that it has made a change at the CEO level.

Ralf Gerbershagen, who has led the company since 2014 will step down immediately. According to a statement released by Kodak Alaris, its board of directors decided that to better position the company to achieve long term growth plans, they've decided this is the right time to start a search for a new CEO.

The statement did credit Gerbershagen for his leadership and commitment which officials say put the company in a stronger position.

He will be replaced on an interim basis as CEO by Jeff Goodman, who joined Kodak Alaris in early 2015, and most recently was Chief Operating Officer.

Kodak Alaris is involved in photo kiosks and other photographic products as well as providing software solutions and information management services.

The company employs around 700 people in Rochester, and 3,000 worldwide.
