Ken Glazer Named Managing Partner At Buckingham

Ken Glazer has been named managing partner at Buckingham Properties. He is the son of Larry Glazer, who along with his wife Jane, died in a plane crash  off the coast of Jamaica last month.

Glazer tells the Rochester Business Journal that he will work with Buckingham's management team, overseeing day-to-day operations as his father had.

The other Buckingham partners are Rick Glazer, Ken Glazer's brother, and Daniel Goldstein.

The firm is also hiring Peter Buckley, a project executive at Pike Co., to replace Ken Glazer as Buckingham's director of development.

Buckingham owns and manages more than 60 properties including some of Rochester's largest projects such as the current development at the former Midtown Plaza site, the Xerox Square building, the downtown Bausch+Lomb building and Alexander Park.

Randy Gorbman is WXXI's director of news and public affairs. Randy manages the day-to-day operations of WXXI News on radio, television, and online.
