The 40th Annual International Viola Congress opens Wednesday at the Eastman School of Music.
Hundreds of violists from all over the world have gathered for a week of concerts, lecture demonstrations and panel discussions.
In the opening concert, violist Atar Arad will be playing his own composition, “Epitaph.”
