Indictment In Connection With Discovery Of A Body On Rowley St.

A Monroe County Grand Jury has indicted a local psychiatrist on charges in connection with the discovery of a body in the backyard of a house on Rowley Street in Rochester two weeks ago.

62 year old William Lewek was indicted on charges of tampering with physical evidence and drug possession in connection with the discovery of the body of Mathew Straton. Those are the same charges he was originally arrested on earlier this month.

Lewek is accused of removing Straton’s body from a third floor bedroom in the house and trying to conceal it in the backyard.  The 32 year old Straton had been reported missing in late October.

Officials have not yet determined how Straton died, as the investigation continues by the Medical Examiner.  Lewek is currently free on $350,000 bond.
