Help from Rochester Headed to Gulf Disaster

Rochester, NY – Two of Rochester's 14 Coast Guard reservists are on their way to the Gulf of Mexico to help with cleanup from the BP Oil Spill.

Both left over the weekend. Chief Roger Rebman, is a firefighter full-time with the City of Rochester. He'll work in Louisiana for the next two or three months directing a cleanup crew of up to 50.

The other reservist called up is Chief Jeffery Schnars. Both are boat drivers, who will learn more about their specific duties in the Gulf, when they report Monday.
