Hart's Local Grocers, the first grocery store to come to downtown Rochester in more than a decade has set an opening date. It will be Friday, August 15.
The supermarket will be located in the city's East End, in the spot on Winthrop Street formerly occupied by Craig Autometrics.
The opening activities start at 9:45 a.m. on August 15 with remarks by local officials and they will cut the ribbon for the opening at 10 a.m. Hart's will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Hart's says it will feature products from more than 50 local vendors including a selection of organic produce and other products.
