Binghamton Shooting Press Conference

Binghamton, NY – 14 people have been killed in a shooting at an immigrant services center in Binghamton. Four people were critically wounded, including a receptionist who called 911 to report the attack. Police Chief Joseph Zikuski says 26 people hid in the boiler room and that 37 people were safely removed from the American Civic Association Building when 42 year old Jiverly Voong opened fire on a citizenship class. 13 people died, in the shooting, and then Voong turned the gun on himself. At a news conference in Binghamton, New York Governor David Paterson says he hopes the people of Binghamton can recover from this incident.
