The assessment on Tom Golisano's South Bristol home will not change, according to the town’s assessment board.
South Bristol Assessor Valary Muscarella says that decision was made May 31st and a notice was mailed to the Paychex founder and philanthropist.
Golisano has been battling the town in recent months, saying his lakeside property's tax assessment was unfair due to the excessive amount of geese on his lawn.
He says the problem has lowered the value of his property.
Because of this, he has been withholding $140,000 in tax payments to the town.
