Geva Theatre's Executive Tom Parrish is leaving to take a position in Rhode Island.
Parrish, who joined Geva in 2011, will become the new Executive Director of Trinity Reportory Company, which is the Tony Award-winning State Theater of Rhode Island.
Geva's Board of Trustees has launched a search process to identify a new managing partner to join Artistic Director Mark Cuddy.
Parrish says that the move was not an easy decision, but he says for both personal and professional reasons it was an opportunity he could not turn down.
Parrish will remain at Geva through the end of October. Cuddy continues on as Artistic Director. The search committee will be led by Richard Gray, a Vice President of the theater board, and Geva will also use a national executive search firm.
