Gates Police say the man seriously injured Wednesday evening in a shooting on Cole Avenue in Gates has died.
According to Time Warner Cable News, officers identify the man only as in his 60s. His name was not released.
Police were were called to 109 Cole Avenue for a reported family problem, and soon after they got there, a man was transported from the scene by Gates Ambulance. Two other family members were there when police arrived.
Right now, there's been no word on a motive for the shooting.
There's no report yet of anyone being arrested in the shooting.
