Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blue Cross Arena on Exchange Boulevard in Rochester.
Family and friends are reaching out to help the wife and two children of Officer Pierson, who live in East Rochester. A YouCaring site has been set up to help Pierson's wife, a 4-year-old son and 3-month-old daughter, who live in East Rochester.
Organizers said the donations will help curb funeral and memorial costs. The site had raised nearly $30,000 by Friday night.
