Fringe Festival Expands

Last year's Fringe Festival was such a success, organizers have doubled the length of this year's event.
It's now scheduled to run 10 days, from September 19th through the 28th.
Festival producer Erica Fee says they were hoping to attract 15-thousand people to last fall's debut.
At least 33-thousand attended festival events at a number of venues.
The attractions ranged from the aerial dance troupe Bandaloop on the side of the 21-story HSBC Building, to the Harlem Gospel Choir, to comedian Patton Oswalt.
Many venues were sold out.
This year's event will take place at about 20 downtown venues with artists from around the world.
