Fringe Festival Expanding

Alex Crichton wxxi

The annual Fringe Festival returns for a second year in 2013, and organizers say it's bigger and better than ever.
Headliners were announced today.
They include comedian Mark Maron and humorist Dave Barry.
The vertical dance company Bandaloop will be returning this year.
Producer Erica Fee outlined the headliners this morning.
The 2013 edition has been expanded to ten days, and more venues have been added.
She calls it a grass roots festival, and is a result of a group of community leaders in the arts getting together and making this happen.
She says it's a real Rochester festival, and all the venues program events themselves.
The First Niagara Fringe Festival runs September 19th through 28th.
The full lineup will be announced next month.
