Residents of Rochester's Northeast Quadrant celebrated the opening of the Freedom Market on Thursday.
It's a corner store offering healthier food products than the typical convenience store fare. The market is a project of Northeast Area Development, Inc. NEAD Executive Director George Moses says residents were part of the planning and construction of the market and they also staff the store.
