Four indicted in the death of Craig Rideout including family members

A Monroe County grand jury has indicted four people in connection with the death of a Penfield man whose body was later found in Yates County.

According to the district attorney’s office, the grand jury has indicted Craig Rideout’s estranged wife, 45 year old Laura Rideout, along with Craig and Laura’s sons, 19 year old Alexander and 23 year old Colin Rideout, and 50 year old Paul Tucci, Laura Rideout’s boyfriend.

All four face charges that include second degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Craig Rideout was reported missing last July 20th and his body was found near Penn Yan in Yates County. Reportedly his body was wrapped in a tarp and his face was disfigured by acid.

Last month Tucci was ordered to provide a DNA sample to authorities.

There’s no word yet when the four suspects will be arraigned.
