Forbes billionaire list includes some with WNY connections

There are at least two men with ties to Western New York who are again on the Forbes list of the world’s billionaires.

Paychex founder and still chairman of the company, Tom Golisano, increased his net worth by $500 million over the last year to $3 billion in the new Forbes list.

Golisano, former owner of the Buffalo Sabres, still visits the area and makes  major philanthropic donations to various local organizations, but he lives much of the year in Florida.

Also on the list is the current owner of the Sabres and the Buffalo Bills, Terry Pegula, who has a net worth of $4.1 billion.

Topping the Forbes list for the fourth year in a row is Bill Gates, with a net worth of $86 billion.
