Flower City Challenge 5K and half-marathon will affect traffic Sunday

The Rochester Regional Health Flower City Challenge is on Sunday, and the race will be affecting traffic on Sunday.

The 5K and half-marathon races will be run through the city with the start and finish line at the Blue Cross Arena.

The following traffic closings will be in effect for the morning of Sunday, April 22:

Court Street Bridge is closed from 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Broad Street Bridge between South and Exchange will be closed from 4:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Exchange Street between Court and Broad will be closed from 4:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The following traffic advisories will be in effect for the morning of Sunday, April 22:

7:15 to 9 a.m.:

Broad Street to W. Main, Madison, Brown, and Morrie Silver Way

Plymouth Avenue northbound from Allen Street to Brown Street

State Street to E. Main Street.

7:45 to 9 a.m.:

E. Main to East Ave to right on Brunswick to Park Ave to Goodman

8 a.m. to 10 a.m.:

Goodman from Park to Pinetum

No exiting off I-490 to Goodman St.

8 a.m. to 11 a.m.:

Pinetum to Doctors, left onto Mt. Vernon to Alpine, then cross South Avenue and then Robinson to Mt. Hope over to the River Path at U of R, over the Ford Street Bridge.

8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:

Exchange Blvd at Ford St. to W. Broad.
