noaa.gov

The National Weather Service has extended a Flash Flood Warningfor parts of Monroe and Ontario Counties until 3:45 p.m.  Parts of Ontario and Livingston Counties were particularly hard hit, especially the Town of Richmond in Ontario County, and Avon in Livingston County.

There is a flood watch in effect for much of Western NY  into Monday afternoon until 5 p.m.,  with the possibility of another 1 to 2 inches of rain.

Thunderstorms brought vivid lightning and loud thunder to many people in the early morning hours. As of  around Noon, RG&E reported about 2300 customers without power, with many of those in Webster.

The heavy rains caused ponding on the roadways, with a lane reported closed during the morning commute on I-490 near Goodman St., and 590 at Highland Avenue.
