Mayor Tom Richards is announcing Cool Sweep, the city's public safety and consumer service program -- run in cooperation with RG&E -- will run from Monday right through Wednesday as temperatures are expected to be in the upper 8os each day.
City crews will open various fire hydrants and spray parks at locations around the city.
City pools will be open longer hours, and swimming will be extended at Durand Eastman Beach.

Cool Sweep hydrant locations (noon to 4 p.m.):
