Fire Destroys Nature Center In East Bloomfield

Rochester, New York – Ontario County officials are investigating a fire that destroyed a Community Cultural and Nature Center in East Bloomfield early Thursday.
The building was under construction, and was a joint project by the Town of East Bloomfield and the Bloomfield Central School District. It was located near the Bloomfield High School.
The Ontario County Emergency Management Office says the nature center was a complete loss. The building was valued at 200-thousand dollars.
Firefighters from East Bloomfield-Holcomb and from Victor fought the blaze after it was reported shortly after 2:30 a.m.
