Fatal Pedestrian Accident On Route 104

One person died after being struck by a vehicle in Rochester on Route 104 on Saturday afternoon.

It happened just before 3pm on Hudson Avenue. State Police tell Time Warner Cable News that a AAA truck operator was loading a disabled vehicle onto his truck when a family member of the person with the disabled vehicle entered the roadway.

Troopers say that’s when a vehicle going east on 104 struck the person and the tow truck operator.

The male family member was killed. The tow truck operator was not seriously injured. The driver that struck the pedestrian is cooperating with police.

Route 103 was expected to be closed between Seneca and Hudson until sometime Saturday night.
