Farmington Website Part of Gun Lawsuit

One of the plaintiffs that has filed a notice of intent to sue the state over the new gun control law is AR15.com.
Edward Avila is a partner in the Farmington-based website which offers forums and information for gun enthusiasts.
Avila says his group feels the SAFE ACT was hastily passed by people who no nothing about the subject matter they're trying to regulate.
He says there is plenty of confusion surrounding the new law, which was passed without any representation from constitutents.
Avila says while there are some valid points in the law, it should be thrown out and rewritten in a way he says "makes sense."
AR15.com, the New York Rifle & Pistol Association, Westchester County Firearms Owners Association, and the Sportsmen's Association for Firearms Education Inc plan to sue the state, arguing  the law violates the constitutional right to bear arms, and the right to privacy.
The notice to file gives the group 90 days to file their lawsuit.
