The East Irondequoit School District has voted to move ahead with legal action against the owner of Medley Centre. The district says the developer of the project, Bersin Properties, violated a payment-in-lieu of taxes agreement.
The school district wants to recover that money, along with interest and other costs.
A partner with Bersin Properties issued a statement saying that they have offered to sit down with the district to resolve their differences, but are prepared to go to court since they disagree with the demands being made by the school district.
