Dryden Honors Hoffman In Tribute Film Series

en.wikipedia.org

The Dryden Theater at George Eastman House is remembering Fairport native and Academy Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman in a two-part film series through October.

Hoffman died in February.  The series continues next week with Magnolia.  Hoffman's Oscar-winning performance in Capote will be screened in August.

In the audio link above Caroline Yeager, assistant curator in the Moving Image Department at the George Eastman House, talks about this tribute to Hoffman, considered by many the finest character actor of his generation.
