Monroe County deputies have identified the body of the missing boater whose body was recovered Saturday afternoon from Irondequoit Bay.
He is 26 year old Gabriel Perez-Alvarado of Rochester. Deputies say he was on a pontoon boat and had gone into the water to swim and began struggling.
The search began late Friday afternoon, and resumed early Saturday morning. The U.S. Coast Guard assisted with the search.
