Film crews will be here for ten days starting April 30th to shoot scenes for the "Amazing Spiderman 2," and that will have an impact on public transportation.
Mike Tedesco is spokesman for the Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority.
He says that will force the bus company to bypass stops and service on Main Street between Chestnut and St. Paul Streets.
And the plan is to move the main transfer points on Main Street to the Broad Street Bridge area between the Blue Cross Arena and the Rundel Library.
He adds because of the extent of the detours, the "Where's My Bus" feature will not be in service during the filming.
Tedesco says bus patrons should go to rgrta.com/spiderman for the latest. He says they'll be doing their best to make bus rides for customers as normal as possible.
