Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Gets Ready To Open A Restaurant In Baltimore

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP)  The number of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que restaurants in operation will hit double figures when the Syracuse-based company opens its 10th eatery later this year.

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que opened its ninth location this spring in Chicago. The company's first restaurant outside the Northeast is located on the Windy City's Near North Side in a former pump manufacturing factory.

The company's 10th location is expected to open in September near the harbor in Baltimore.

Company founder John Stage told The Post-Standard of Syracuse  that he's still in talks with officials in Indianapolis about putting a Dinosaur restaurant at a downtown location.

The other Dinosaur Bar-B-Que restaurants are located in New York state in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Troy, Harlem and Brooklyn, and in Newark, New Jersey and Stamford, Connecticut.
