Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with an assault on a College at Brockport student. Officials say he turned himself in at the Strong Hospital emergency department. The suspect was identified as 20 year old Osaze Adisa Timothy of Rochester.
The incident began around 9 a.m.in McLean Hall on the Brockport campus.
The victim is David Medina, a freshman from Rochester. He has been taken into surgery and is currently in stable condition at Strong Hospital. The college issued a statement saying that the "thoughts and prayers of the entire Brockport community are with David and his family and we are hopeful for his full recovery." Medina is also on the soccer team.
Police believe this was a targeted assault and the suspect is known to the victim.
