Curtain Rises on Renovated Eastman Theatre Stage

Rochester, NY – On October 6th, hundreds of people watched the curtain rise on five million dollars' worth of renovations to the stage area of Eastman Theatre. The performance hall was opened in 1922 by George Eastman to show off silent films. Its design left room for improvement to the theatre's acoustics.
