Cuomo releases more details about regional State of the State events

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office has released some more information about his regional State of the State addresses.

In a break with tradition, Cuomo announced recently that instead of doing the one, main address in Albany, he would do a series of six addresses around the state.

On Monday, Cuomo announced that the address for Western New York will be in Buffalo on Monday, January 9th, along with an address in New York City on that day.

On Tuesday, January 10th, he will give the address in Westchester County and on Long Island.

And on Wednesday, January 11th, the speeches will be given in Albany and Syracuse.

Specific times for the events have not been released yet.

New Yorkers wishing to attend can register on the Governor's homepage before registration closes on Friday, January 6 at 12:00 p.m. Seating is limited and tickets are non-transferable. In the event that the number of requests exceeds available seating, attendees will be selected by lottery. Guests will be notified of their selection via email no later January 8.
