Crash With Serious Injuries Ties Up Traffic On Route 104

TWC News

A crash with serious injuries caused major traffic problems  on Route 104 Tuesday morning .

It happened near Goodman St. in Irondequoit at about 5:30 a.m.

State Police tell us  that a woman and two children in a car were eastbound on 104 and crossed over to the westbound side, colliding with an SUV.

There was one person in the SUV.  There were conflicting reports about whether there was a fatality involved in the accident, but at this point, troopers can only confirm there were some "very serious injuries."

The Goodman St. ramp to Route 104 west was shut down, and traffic was tied up on Route 104, with one of the westbound lanes being closed.
