CooperVision Moves Corporate Offices To Victor

CooperVision, the contact lens company that has operations in the Rochester area, is celebrating the move to its new corporate offices. That operation has moved from Woodcliff in Perinton to Victor's High Point Development.

About 325 people are employed there, and the company's President of North America, Jerry Warner, says the new space will allow more room for the company's growth.

He says it's possible they could add people down the line.

“I expect that we’ll have opportunities to grow our presence within this facility, in fact we have a floor plan that allows us to do it. But it will really be reviewed based on needs for the business” Warner told WXXI News.

CooperVision employs more than 1250 people in the Rochester area, with facilities also located in Scottsville and West Henrietta.  The company is actually based in California.

Warner says this region has provided a good source of skilled employees.

“It’s one of the reasons that we’ve made such a strong commitment to the area, marketing, finance, I-T, as well as the requirements for our distribution facility at Scottsville. Rochester is just rich with talent to help us here.”

CooperVision is leasing more than 76,000 square feet of space in Victor, with the ability to add more space if needed.
