Construction To Close Kendrick Rd. Bridge For Up To 4 Weeks

wxxinews

The NYS Transportation Department says that the Kendrick Road bridge over I-390 between Westmoreland Drive and East River Road will close to vehicle traffic for up to four weeks starting this coming Monday, July 7.

The work is part of the ongoing project in Brighton that officails say will improve travel by widening the Kendrick Road bridge and building a new on-ramp from Kendrick Road to 390.

A detour will be posted directing drivers to use Mount Hope Avenue to Elmwood Avenue to East River Road.

There will be short-term lane closures on 390, but the expressway will remain open in both directions.
