Connections: Two Weekend Events

In the first part of the hour, we discuss how wine and music have the potential to pair just as beautifully as wine and food. In the Finger Lakes, there's a growing wine-and-music scene, and it veers toward classical, jazz, and chamber music.

On Saturday night, the Manhattan Chamber Ensemble performs at Ravines Wine Cellars' Geneva location. Other wineries have had similar success with these kinds of events.

Joining us to discuss the event is Lisa Hallgren, co-owner of Ravines Wine Cellars, and Richard Auldon Clark, Conductor and Music Director of both the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, and the Butler Symphony Orchestra.

Then we gear up for the 37th annual Park Avenue Summer Arts Fest that takes place Saturday and Sunday. We find out what to expect at the fest this weekend with Festival Organizer Jeff Springut and Festival PR Manager Randi Minetor.
