A Complete Wrap of WXXI's Jazz Festival Coverage on Radio, TV & Online

The Xerox Rochester International Jazz festival is one of Rochester’s signature events and WXXI’s award winning News Department had complete coverage on radio, television online and on social media.

WXXI’s Alex Crichton and Scott Regan of WRUR’s Open Tunings local music program presented a look at each day of the festival with "Jazz Break" each weekday morning during Morning Edition on WXXI-AM 1370.

WXXI’s news staff presented live updates from the festival each weekday afternoon during NPR’s All Things Considered on WXXI-AM 1370.

On WXXI-TV, News Director Julie Philipp and Steve Dawe profiled Jazz Festival artists from the diverse lineup during Need to Know Rochester. WXXI’s television crews shot several shows on location during the more than week-long festival. This video will be shown as part of future productions.

We also had complete coverage here in our special section on WXXINews.org and instant updates on Twitter by following @WXXIJazz.

WXXI and The Little Theatre had several other live and televised events to coincide with the festival here.
