There's a change in the top ranks of the administration of Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren. Warren announced on Friday, that Chris Christopher will be stepping donw as Communications Director.
Ted Capuano will fill in as interim director until a replacement is named.
Mayor Warren issued this statement:
"Chris has worked with me for years and I consider her a friend and trusted advisor. In her time as communications director she has orchestrated countless events and helped keep our Communications Department running smoothly," said Mayor Lovely Warren. "I'm pleased that she will continue to assist us with special projects so that we can push forth our agenda of helping residents access jobs, providing safe neighborhoods and access to a quality education."
Christopher, who also ran Warren's campaign for mayor, says she made a one year commitment to head up the communications office, and she's glad that she will still be contributing on special projects.
Christopher also has her own marketing and communications firm and also has been a producer with Blue Sky, a documentary film company.
