Coming up on Connections: Wednesday, April 16th

12 noon: The future of nanotechnology

1pm: Pre-K, children's programs, and what made the cut in the state budget

At noon, what is nanotechnology? Is it safe? Can it save lives, with tiny robots coursing through our bodies to root out the dangers? How about the construction industry? We learn all about nanotech from Sara Brenner of the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. She's speaking in Rochester Wednesday night at the Rochester Museum and Science Center.

At 1pm, Jeff Kaczorowski and Carolyn Lee-Davis from the Children's Agenda join us to help us understand what did -- and what did not -- make the cut in the 2014 state budget. From pre-k to children's programs and child care, they break down what resources will soon be available.
