Democrat & Chronicle

First hour: Democrat & Chronicle Executive Editor Karen Magnuson

Second hour: Real estate roundtable

In our first hour, a former ad executive for USA Today says it would be a "friggin' travesty" if the print edition of the newspaper dies. But USA Today editor-in-chief David Callaway said last week that the company could stop publishing a daily print newspaper as early as the next five or six years. What does that mean for the industry? In Rochester, the Democrat & Chronicle has made some changes, but appears to be stable. We'll talk about how to keep a newspaper audience, how to reach younger readers, and whether cutting the print run days is a sign of shrewdness or weakness. In studio:

Karen Magnuson, Executive Editor of the Democrat & Chronicle

Then, it's a spring real estate roundtable. Despite what some real estate agents tell you, it can't be both a buyers' and a sellers' market. So which is it? What do the numbers say about first-time home buyers? Where are the local hot spots? Panel in studio:

Mark Siwiec, Nothnagle Realtors
Rome Celli, RE/MAX Realty Group
Mandy Friend, Keller Williams
Jeremias Maneiro, RE/MAX Realty Group
