In our first hour, former NFL player Roland Williams joins us to explain why he insists the city of Rochester needs his new Champion Academy now. Williams is aiming to help at-risk boys especially; he points to the anemic graduation rates among black and Latino boys in Rochester. But is the money there? How will he cover the expense if the city won't commit?
In our second hour, we welcome representatives from some of the most successful local bands / music acts. Our focus: how can bands earn a living when so many consumers want music for free? How has Spotify and its ilk impacted musicians? It's easier to record music than ever, but is it harder than ever to make money? We'll explore all the angles.
