The president of the College at Brockport has announced his retirement. John Halstead announced on Tuesday morning that he will retire one year from now in August 2015.
He made the announcement during the college's annual faculty and staff convocation.
The 66 year old Halstead has led the school since 2005. Previously his resume included serving as president of Mansfield University in Pennsylvania for seven years.
