City and Foodlink Team Up to Battle Hunger

Rochester Deputy Mayor Leonard Redon joined officials from the regional food bank, Foodlink, in proclaiming September "Hunger Action Month."

Foodlink Executive Director Tom Ferraro says over 50-thousand children in the region don't know where their next meal is coming from.

Foodlink is raising awareness of the problem, and has put out a call to action to people to join the hunger relief effort.

Foodlink will hold its largest fundraiser, "Festival of Food" on September 16th at the Public Market.
