Charges Filed In Main Street Crash

Macedon Police have released more information about the crash on Friday where a vehicle they were pursuing crashed on Main Street in Rochester near East High School.

They say the driver of the pickup truck that tried to ram one of their police cars is 48 year old Charles Domicello of Rochester. Police say he has an extensive criminal history involving violence and weapons, and also has an extensive history of fleeing law enforcement.

He faces numerous charges including reckless endangerment, fleeing a police officer, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon. Officers also say Domicello is suspected of having been under the influence of narcotics at the time of the accident.

Also charged were his two passengers. 29 year old Jessica Cuthbert  and 46 year old Angela Urso, both of Rochester. They face charges that include burglary and petty larceny. All three  as well as the driver of a vehicle they struck in Rochester suffered non life threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Police say the incident started Friday after they got a report of theft of alcohol from a  business in Macedon. They say they found merchandise from several stores in the pickup truck after the accident.
