State Police have filed charges in connection with a wrong-way fatal crash on 490 in Rochester that happened early Saturday morning.
They say that 30 year old Robert Rector of Fairport now faces charges of vehicular manslaughter, manslaughter and drunk driving.
Troopers say that just before 3:00 a.m. Saturday, Rector was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes without headlights on 490 near Ames Street when his vehicle crashed into a car driven by 19 year old Khadijah McKenzie of Gates. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Rector was treated for minor injuries. The Monroe County District Attorney is also investigating.
