Changes For Delta Flights In Rochester

Delta Airlines is cutting on some flights at the Greater Rochester International Airport.  The airline has cut flights to JFK in New York City from three times daily to once a day.  But at the same time it has added a weekday flight between Rochester and LaGuardia Airport, which results in five daily flights to that airport.

Delta is not changing its weekend New York City service, which includes two flights on Saturday and four on Sunday.

A spokeswoman for Delta tells WXXI News that these changes reflect the end of summer, when air travel is at its peak.  Delta is the largest carrier at the Rochester airport.
