Bill Clinton at U of R

Rochester, NY – President Bill Clinton addressed Rochester's college students over the weekend and unveiled details of a new federal program that will help ease the burden of post graduation student loans.
The former president spoke before a full crowd at the Eastman Theatre.
He says under new federal guidelines, loan payments will no longer be calculated at rates most students are unable to pay.
Clinton says the new program will base graduation re-payment rates on each student's income once landing a job.
He says this program is vital because tuition costs continue to rise causing more and more students to drop out before obtaining their degree.
Clinton calls that a recipe for economic disaster.
