http://youtu.be/wP6AiUURV98

It's an event that has been years in the planning, but it's finally here. The PGA Championship, to be played at Oak Hill  Country Club in Rochester.

Even though the actual tournament doesn't start until later this week, a lot of local fans are already gearing  up.

The huge pro shop set up at Oak Hill was open on Sunday, and plenty of people stopped by to spend some time browsing through the hats, shirts, jackets, ball markers and anything else that could be associated with this event.

The tournament really is big business, not just for the PGA, but for Rochester in general.  It's expected to attract about 200,000 spectators, and have an economic impact of about $78 million on this area.

One golf fan at the course on Sunday, Todd Schmeer of Rochester, says it's an event that should make a lot of people happy.

"I think it's awesome for Rochester in general,  for the golfing community around here, which is a relatively short season, but with the courses that we have here, and the amount of people that play, this is just fantastic for this this area. "  PGA officials announced on Sunday that Season Grounds, Wanamaker and Thursday Daily Ground tickets are sold out.  The only tickets remaining are for the practice rounds.

Practice rounds are Monday through Wednesday, with the actual tournament taking place on Thursday through Sunday. The last time Oak Hill hosted the PGA Championship was in 2003.
