Bad Brownies Sicken Four Students

RCSD

Someone brought homemade brownies to a Rochester school that sent four students sick to the hospital.

Rochester Police tell WXXI that several students at the Rochester Early College International High School were exposed to the brownies, laced with an unknown substance.

Three of the students were treated and released, but one was admitted to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Police say they are interviewing people who may know about the brownies, and welcome any tips to 9-1-1.

RECIH is in the same building as the Wilson Foundation Academy. The Rochester School District used its automated telephone system to reassure Wilson parents that the brownie problems appeared to be limited to the Early College school.
